IAAGG Members and Friends,

First and foremost, we care about everyone's health and safety. So, with concern for your well-being and in following the guidelines of local, state, federal governments and health organizations and due to the closing of the Eiteljorg Museum and the Allen County Public Library, the following changes have been made:

Your board of directors has:

  • Postponed our research trip to Ft. Wayne (previously April 11)
  • Postponed our Annual meeting scheduled for April 18

*New dates for both postponed events have not yet been determined. New dates will depend on the recommendations of health officials and the availability of meeting sites. We will be in contact with those who have already paid for the Ft. Wayne trip.

It is worth repeating the guidance of the Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) for protecting yourself and others: Wash your hands frequently with soap and/or alcohol-based sanitizers; avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth; cover your mouth or nose when you sneeze or cough; maintain distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing. Of course, if you have a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, seek medical attention.

Thanks to the internet, many of us can continue to research and write “Our Family Story”.

Stay Well!
